Bihari food is not only Littichokha 😋
If I say Bihari food, I automatically think of litti-chokha. While I like it too, it's the meat champaran that makes my mouth water most of the time
Not Regular Red Gravy Mutton 🍲
The dish isn't quite as rich as some red curry mutton, but it is the perfect combination of different tastes and textures. Its characteristic flavor is imparted by a garlic bulb that is cooked with the meat.
Wholesome Gralic Divine 🌶
When the curry is ready, the whole garlic becomes soft and you can squeeze it to extract the pulp, which you then mix with the rice and gravy. The dish is then infused with a sweet, hot, and sharp taste that gives it its special place in the world.
Earthy Feeling and Taste 👍
The meat is cooked in earthen pots on slow coal fire, and served in a handi, which enhances the taste of whatever it contains. I guess it is the feel of the earth and a back to basics feeling in a way, you become attached.
Delicate and Easy to Digest 🥣
Hot and spicy served on your favorite plate at your comfy couch will feel like heaven. Their meat curry is excellent with juicy lamb pieces in thick gravy flavored with pepper. Oh, and, of course, the garlic is great as well!
😃 As happy as I am that I was able to find champaran meat - or dinner, I should say. And I am equally happy that the food was served in a mitti ki handi, Now, I think I will plant some spices in the empty pot. Probably a garlic bulb and i hope so, i will...🤞
